Follow Jack on his adventures fuelled by The Roastery
Marko TrkuljaIntroducing Jack…
Like us, Jack is Northamptonshire born & bred, and he has proudly raised a thriving business, ShireFit, in 3 of our county towns. Despite facing learning and speech difficulties, he pushed himself through school and then 9 gruelling months of training to become a Royal Marines Commando.
He’s recently stepped back to make way for his next venture: a series of World Record Challenges taking him around the globe. His efforts will all be geared towards raising money for charities that support children in reaching their full potential.
The Roastery is proud to have supported Jack this year as he completed his first World Record with a continuous 24 hours Ski-Erg-athon. But he will be needing our buzz to keep him going on some of the incredible adventures he has ahead of him. The next challenge is seeing him take on the toughest race in the world, the Marathon Des Sables (156 miles on foot across the Sahara!)
”Jack has served his country at the highest level in both the armed forces and in rugby union and we are thrilled to embrace him as part of The Roastery ambassador program" - Marcel Binley Managing Director of The Roastery
As a company, we are committed to investing in the communities in which we work, whether that be with the people who grow our award winning coffee beans on the other side of the world, or by supporting our local community here in Northamptonshire through the Saints Foundation. And now, with Jack’s help and sense of adventure, we are hoping to take that support to even more people.
So, watch this space…whilst the Roastery coffee is here to stay, Jack is really going places! And together we will see his achievements and our coffee go from strength to strength!
Of course like always keep your eyes peeled for exciting things to come…
