    Mexico Mixteca - Organic Coffee
    Mexico Mixteca - Organic Coffee

Our new mainstay single origin from Mexico, this is an easy drinking and versatile coffee. Full of notes of sweet roasted hazelnut and dark chocolate, with a smooth, creamy body. It tastes great both black and with milk.

La Mixteca Alta del Pacifico is a cooperative in Oaxaca made up of 166 members. With an average of just 2.5 hectares per producer, this is small scale and low yield farming. The idiginous people working in this region (known as the Mixtecos) are very closely connected to nature and as a result the soil quality here is excellent.

Working with Galguera Gomez (a 3 generation coffee company) who run a state of the art dry mill, La Mixteca focus on quality, maintaining the region's cultural heritage, maintaining good agroforestry and organic agriculture practices and growing traditional varietals.
